Afternote:
The foregoing list represents as far as it is possible to ascertain the Goffstown soldiers in the Revolutionary War. After several years of study and research we think it as near correct as possible. In some cases it does not disclose the full record of the soldier's service, since it could not be found in the New Hampshire or Massachusetts records, but sufficient is given to identify him as a Revolutionary soldier from Goffstown and his department of service.
