   To Samuel Stark Constable for the Town of Derryfield the Present year    Greeting
   you are hearby Required in the Name of the government and People of this State to Levy and Collect of the Severill parsons Named in this List hearwith Committed to you Eatch one his proportion Set Down therein the Sum total of Sutch List Being as By an act of the General Court of Said State for the use of Said State and Sum part for the use of the County of hillsborough in Perticuler for the Corant year, and you are to Colect and pay or Cause to Be paid into the treasury of this State the Sum of three hundred and twenty pounds Eighteen Shillings one thurd part of Said Sum you are to Collect and pay or Caus to Be paid into the Treasury By the Last Day of June Next one thurd part on or Before the Last Day of September Next and the Remaining thurd on or Before the Last Day of Nouember Next, you are to pay the whole of Said Sum Sum in Gold or Silver the Treasury Sertificates for Intrist Dew on publick Services orders on the Treasurer Drawn By the President of the Council in Favior of officers and Soldiers in the three and Six months Service or in Like in favour of aney Town or parson for Bounties for Soldiers on Supply for there famellyes upon the last of the year one thousan Seven hundrid and Seventy Nine or in the following Sppasic[1] articals (viz) good New England Rum at two Shillings and Six pence per gallon good west India Rum at four Shillings per gallon: Beaf Cattle at the first period at three pence half penny pr pound waight: the Second period at three pence purpound: the third and Last period at two pence purpound: mens Need Lather Shoes of good Quallity five Shillings per paid others in proportion Cotton and Cotton and Linnin Cloth Seven Eighths of a yard wide of the Best Quallity two Shillings per yard. good yard wide tow Cloth at one Shilling and Six pence per yard: Good felt hats at five Shillings Eatch, good white woollen Cloth three Quarters wide well milled and once Sheared Seven Shillings per yard and that of a meanur Quallity in proportion Good Eight Quarter Blankets Sutable for Soldiers at twenty one Shillings Eatch: Linin Cloth Seven Eights of a yard wide Sutable for shurting for oficers at five Shillings per yard, Cloth of a meanor Quallity in proportion. Good wheet flower at twenty four Shillings per hundred waight. the Rum to Delivered at the Expence of those that pay in Rum at the publick Stoers in portsmouth Exeter or plasto to Sutch parsons as Shall Be appointed to Receive the Same and Recept for the Same and those that pay in Beaf Cattle to pay to the order of the Committy of Supply at the Expence of those that pay in Beaf Cattle Said Beaf Cattle not to Be Drove a Greater Distence than fifteen miles By those that pay in Beaf and all the other Specific Articals Shall Be Delivered to the Board of war at ports mouth or Exeter free of Charge and take a Recept from the Chearman of the Committy of Safty or Some person appointed to Recept for the Same
   provided that one thurd part of Said tax Be not paid in Beaf Rum or the other articles mentioned in the act at the Respective Periods Before mentioned then Sutch Deficiences to Be paid in Silver or Gold and you are to Collect and pay into the treasurey of the County of hillsborough the Sum of Six pounds Seven pence to Be paid into the Said Treasurey By the First Day of october next and aney Sum that you may Be freed from paying into the Treasurey By vartue of aney of the aforementioned order you are to pay to us the Select men men at the Same time that you ware to pay it into the State Treasurey if need for the use of this Town and the Remainder of what there is in the Listmore than the precipt you are to pay to us the Selectmen By the Last Day of December next and if aney parson or parsons Refuse or Neglect to pay the Sum they are Respectively assesd you are to observe and follow the Direction of the Law of this State in Levying and Collecting the Same
